Not much to report

by sameold @ 2008-05-21 - 01:18:12

I haven't written a post for two weeks, because I have not had a spare two minutes to myself - The weather has been great and I have had at least 10 children in my garden and running around the house, every afternoon when school closes -

Things are starting to look a lot brighter for me, as part-time daddy moved into his new house today ( After living at his mothers house 5 doors down from me ). So he decides to finally move out after us being apart for 5-6 months, Today I gave him a key and told him to come into the house and take whatever he wants out - He seemed shocked, but to be fair I cant see him without furniture, etc...I told him that I wouldn't be in and he could have what he liked ( apart from 42" TV ) So I drop the kids off at school and go around to my Fathers to cook us some nice breakfast, and then I got on his laptop and ordered myself a new front room - Its only stuff from ikea, but it'll do for now as it very modern ( and not so expensive ) and the best bit of all, is that it's all mine...Yippee !!!

Retail therapy...works everytime x

Who was Nelson..??? Callum.

by sameold @ 2008-05-05 - 17:24:13

Well the weather today here on the Wirral has been bloomin bonkers...Sun is out one minute, next light rain ! But the whole time very close and sticky. Basically shorts and t-shirt weather.

My Dad picked the children and I up, in his new people carrier and we drove down to a lovely little village called Parkgate. It used to be a sea front many, many years ago..But now its just marshland for miles and miles, until the River Dee - The views of Wales from there are amazing. And there's a shop that sells the best ice cream in the world there, so we all had one and they were divine.

Anyway my Dad - Who loves History - Started talking about Nelson, and that he had once visited Parkgate...So Callum but's in shouting " oh, I know, I know " So with me not even knowing this, I questioned how he knew ? and did he know who Nelson was...With that he say's " Oh Mum, of course I do..He plays for Everton " Well we couldn't stop laughing. Back to school tommorrow YIPPEE, suppose I'd better get there uniforms washed and pressed..Hope everyone has had a great Bank Holiday of work...xxxx

Last one before I drop.

Another win

by sameold @ 2008-05-04 - 00:06:38

WEST KIRBY WASPS DO IT AGAIN.

My Son's Football team won again today 4-1, I didn't actually watch him play this morning, as I didn't really want to take Baby Charlie out in the rain. But his dad said that Callum saved some right corkers again...The first team ( Black Squad ) are apparently 2 years advanced for there age group ( Around age 7-ish ) and are top of the league. I am so pleased for Callum, as he is not a very confident child usually but since starting football he has become like a different child...Because he has everyone praising him and chanting his name - The look on his face is priceless -
He start's at the Tranmere Rovers goal keepers academy on Tuesday, and to say he's thrilled is a bit of an understatement...Good luck Callum, cant wait to come along and cheer you on.

SSSaaatttuuurrrdaayyy's are great

by sameold @ 2008-05-03 - 10:33:36

(( Do you think I've got that bioplaur or whatever its is..Mind you if I cant even spell it, I must not have it...Have a great day all bloggers x  x x x x ))

Lonely Friday night.com again

by sameold @ 2008-05-02 - 23:06:34

I can handle the week nights being alone, but when the weekend comes and I know that everybody is either out enjoying themselves having fun, or spending a nice night in with there loved ones. Normally I would have downed a nice bottle of vino by now, but I have decided that I am not going to drink at home on my own anymore...What's the point ?? To feel even more sad and feel crap in the morning.

I have my 2 boys with me, but there tucked up in bed and my daughter is staying the night with my mum. I am used to being by myself and I know that I will start enjoying the peace and quiet soon. On a lighter note though things are starting to get easier - Part-time Daddy has told my mum that he will have them for the day on sunday - And thats only because she had a word with him, not because he wanted to. My daughter asked me if I would have another baby ( A little sister for her ) well I nearly passed out...I think I'll buy her a re-born doll of E-bay to stop her going on.

Anyway hope all you lovely bloggers are having a nice evening, whatever you are doing and also enjoy the wet bank holiday we have ahead of us x

CLEANING TUNE

by sameold @ 2008-05-02 - 13:26:03

Well the cleaning will have to wait now

by sameold @ 2008-05-02 - 12:54:49

042I have just managed to move my bum off the sofa, and I was going to make a start on the breakfast dishes - I have been drinking fresh coffee all morning and the sponge was covered in it, so I go to get a new sponge...And look who I find a home made sponge bob...made from my last sponge - so the dishes will have to wait - Kids eh, who'd have em.

He is quite cool though.

My Nan

by sameold @ 2008-05-02 - 12:31:01

My Nanny Megan

My nan who is 81 is the most funniest woman ever, that I have ever met.

She phoned me up and said that a man who lives in her close, had been hit by a car and he was in hospital, I know the man in question and I said " oh, nan is he okay ? " and she said " Well we dont know yet, but he's on an income support machine " I said you mean life support machine, and she said " Yes that's the one ".

Another time I asked her how she was and she said " oh, I'm suffering with my down syndrome " I was like " eh ? " she really meant her IBS..Bless her.

Then she went around saying that my uncle was a pervert and the whole family couldn't believe it, so I rung her and asked her why she was saying that and her reply " well he is, he never goes out " She meant Hermit.

Love you Nan, but you are funny x

My First Boyfriends

by sameold @ 2008-05-02 - 11:22:09

022I have just been looking through some old photo's, to try and think of good times and I came across this. It is a cutting out of our local Newspaper, and it made me laugh so much.

It say's Emma Jane (me) aged 2, gets on the hot line to two of her boy friends John and Danny aged 3 and 17 months, and Emma's verdict on the play group in Hoylake ? Well it looks like she thinks its just ring-a-ding...

How funny : I had 2 boyfriends back then and now I cant even get 1...Just check out the phone I am holding ((massive or what))

Pamper night

by sameold @ 2008-04-25 - 19:04:37

Well tonight I have got a nice chilled bottle of Jacobs Creek, going to get the kids to bed early and have a proper good pampering..Waxing, plucking, shaving, painting nails, spray tan etc, etc.

It's mad how us girls want to look are best just for a night out, even though I haven't got a man I still want to feel nice and look like I have made an effort. I am going to get most of the dull jobs out of the way this evening, so tommorrow just jump in the shower and do hair & make up and go. Going to have a nice foot soak whilst watching Eastenders - Cause as all you girls will know. we seem to neglect our feet in the winter, so get them nice for my wedges.

My Mum has just been and we had a gorgeous take away for our tea, I had crispy chilli beef and it was yummy - shouldn't have done really not when I have got to wear a dress tommorrow night - Anyway keep your fingers crossed for me that my spray tan goes ok and that I dont end up looking streaking..Hope all bloggers have a fun night whatever they are doing x

I love this song

Cant wait until saturday

by sameold @ 2008-04-24 - 15:59:02

Yippee...My dress has arrived today for my night out on saturday - It is the end of season Football Dinner & Dance - At the Kings Gap Court Hotel and I am really looking forward to getting glammed up and wearing my gorgeous dress, it's by Jane Norman and it's so nice I cant wait to wear it..

I have also just brought the most amazing superstay lipstain by Maybelline and it stay's put for 18 hours and it really does, as I have tested it and it will not come off ((Fantastic)). And also an intense XXL mascara by Maybelline which makes your lashes awesome..Girls, you just have to get one of these !!

There is going to be a band playing called Soul Patrol which I am not so sure about really as I like dancing to fast music, but I am sure it will be a good night. It has just started hammering it down with huge hail stones here..and when I say huge I mean like the size of baked beans, it's nuts because we have not long came in from sitting out there in the sun. What a mad day.

How cool is this for a viking outfit

by sameold @ 2008-04-24 - 11:30:59

I have done a daft thing !!

Last night the kids and I had a bit of a rough night, Abbie kept waking up with ear ache and the boys where non stop coughing - Some of the teachers are on strike today anyway - so I just thought that I'd keep them off...Which now I am starting to regret deeply as the two older ones are fighting like cat & dog.

But whilst I was washing the breakfast dishes, Abbie - who has been learning about the Vikings at school - had dressed Callum up in Viking newspaper costume and I think it looks really cool.Callum A bit like the tin man of the wizard of oz.

by sameold @ 2008-04-23 - 23:12:20

Have you ever seen one as big as this...
016I can not believe the size of this fair cone, I have never seen one this big in my life...Charlie can just about hold it with two hands it is really heavy.

019This is a paper plate that my Abbie had made me tonight at a club she goes to called Seekers - Its a church group - We dont actually go to church on sundays but she enjoys it and her friends from school go. In the middle of the plate is a dough model of herself and underneath it says "We love him because he loved us first" 1 John 4:19..Bless her and she had written all around the plate - God loves me, God loves me - I think it is nice to be in groups like this when Children are young because it teaches them to be kind to others and to respect other people..I am glad that she enjoys it, and I am going to try and make an effort to get there on Sunday's for her to go to Sunday school.

Wasps v Panthers 0-0

by sameold @ 2008-04-23 - 22:36:41

003WEST KIRBY WASPS V WEST KIRBY PANTHERS

The weather was red hot down at the ground and the Wasps played a blinder, the Panthers are a great team and we have never won them once. But today it was a great battle and the score : 0 - 0  which was superb to not get hammered again. My son Callum ( The goal keeper in the green top ) saved some right crackers, I  am  so proud when people shout " Great save keeper ".

The chicken curry was also amazing bit to hot for me but I ate a bit. It was really funny because Charlie who's 2 ran on the pitch and I had to leg it on and chase him, I had knee lengh boots and skinny jeans on and I looked like a right spoon everyone was laughing...But hey he must have just wanted to play footie with his big brother.

Anyway it was a lovely evening and hopefully there will be many more to come now the sunshine is here !!

What a lovely evening

by sameold @ 2008-04-23 - 17:01:19

Well the weather here is amazing today, caught some rays in the garden and planted some onions in the vegetable patch - cant wait until there ready, as they taste beautiful -

Going to watch my Callum play West Kirby Panthers in a bit, they are a really good team so fingers crossed my little man will save some goals. I have a made a big chicken madras as have got some friends coming around after the game...And if we win a couple of bottles of chilled Vino will be in order...So come on cal win, win, win.

Blog at first sight...Ha ha !!!

Bored now..Gutted

by sameold @ 2008-04-21 - 11:46:55

Got really excited all weekend as I was about to start work this morning in the new Childrens centre that has just been built and our school, was really looking forward to working with the under 5's instead of my Daughters class (age 9's). Never mind should definitely be up and running by next week, I am hoping.

The two local infant school's have opened a Family & Childrens centre so that parents and there Children under 5 can drop in and join in groups, Parenting skills and the kids can play. It's a really good idea because the kids get used to being around the school that they will attend in the future. I cant wait to start working along side the Family support worker she's coming round to my house on Thursday so I can show her how to do the egg blowing, as we will be giving that a whirl in one of the groups.

So anyway, think Charlie and I will go for a walk along the prom and go for an ice cream and call in and see my Dad - got to get out of the house because Charlie is getting very bored and has drawn all over the wooden floors in felt tip, hope it will come out -

My baby boy is 7 now

by sameold @ 2008-04-13 - 00:30:11

007Happy 7th birthday Callum

I really hope my little baby had a lovely birthday - not that he's a baby anymore, now he's 7 - I am so glad that you enjoyed your day...I love you son, more and more than you will ever know - Mummy x

His presents dont really look a lot, but he got a new x box and 7 games for it and some new football boots and socks and lots of things from friends and family, I think that as your children get older there gifts become a lot more expensive where as when they are babies you can buy them lots of big things - that come in big boxes, and they would sooner play inside the box.

We had a small affair only family and a few friends, because he is'nt one for a fuss...Bless I love you Cal-cal, your just a seven year old face ache now...Abbie has lost her title, you have now become the man of the house..Good night sweetheart..xx..oo..xx..oo..xx..oo..xx

I am lucky..really

by sameold @ 2008-04-06 - 21:59:40

I was just sat here in bed, playing about on my lappy gathering my thoughts on what to do tommorrow now that the kids are back at school...(Yippee, by the way !)

When up popped a blog from juzzzy, showing a beautiful picture of a beach near where we live. And sometimes you forget the nice things around you until someone shows you, so thats what I am going to do - Take a walk down there tommorrow with my Charlie barley and realise just how lucky we are -

Thanks Juzzzy, for showing me....Because I love that place to.

Going out tonight

by sameold @ 2008-04-03 - 14:43:34

Friday's, saturday's, are for losers...Blog's, the, place, to be

by sameold @ 2008-03-29 - 00:01:35

I HATE FRIDAY'S & SATURDAY'S

It's a really aweful sitution, when your in bed by 8.30 (ALONE) And you recieve a text message from your Bestmate saying " just round at Paul's (another friend), having a lovely curry and a few bottles of vino to wash it down with.. Oh and then at the end she said " wish you were here" - Judith Charmers style - Or like that Old Gezzer of Bulls eye... Well here's what you could have won.. But unfornately tonight, all you walking away with is your B.F.H ( your bus fare home).

I am going to make sure that.. Part time Daddy, Has his kids for the night soon - And I am going to have a well deserved night out - Dont know if I have any energy left after another week of Easter Holidays, though  -.

They are driving me nuts, but then I miss them when there gone..Yeh right Em, Like a hole in the Head.

Kids Modelling..Good thing or Bad thing

by sameold @ 2008-03-28 - 15:39:17

l_7546579570be6f737cf269cd42060dad
Would you let your Children
model clothing, for a major high street supermarket ?

When I was asked by a lady in the street..6 years ago now, if I would like my Son Callum to be signed to there Modelling agency books - I was like, yeh deffo ( I was a lot younger then, and I was really chuffed that they thought he was cute).
When I got home and told everyone what had happend, all's they could say was "oh it's just a scam..a way of making money out of me", maybe you do get companys as suggested, but I recieved around 60 pilot photo's of my Children.  Because Callum was doing it, I didn't want Abbie feeling left out.
So anyway I paid £40 for each Child, a one off payment.. 2 weeks later I had a call from the agency asking if I could take Callum up to Manchester , for a casting for Tesco
. There was around 30 babies there, all fighting for a place in the cataloge  ( well..the pushy mum's wanted place's ). Callum was around 8 months at the time..Then a week later I got a call from Tesco saying that he and 5 other babies had got the job, so I had to travel to Manchester every day for 4 day's (Callum got £75 per hour and he had earned around £600 for 4 days work).
Then we got a call for Abbie to go for a casting (Also in Manchester) she was only 3 at the time, she never got it..But we had to tell her she had ! about a month later a copy of the cataloge from Tesco's arrived and Callum was on 5 different pages
..oh poor Abbie..I told her that the Holiday brochure that she was in was for a company aboard, and that's why she didn't have one. I split Callums money between them both and the had £300 each in the bank...Then I stopped doing it because I didn't want them to end up jealous of each other, no money in the world could cover that..

So, I do agree with Child modelling - If you've only got the one..easy money saved up for the future. p.s The photo at the top is off my Callum, something to show his future girlsfriends..

BAD DAY TODAY...SAMEOLD

by sameold @ 2008-03-27 - 01:24:19

I am writing my blog in blue tonight, because that's how I am feeling..BLUE as can be !!
Moan, moan and even more moaning, I have caught Charlie's cold and feel rotten and down in the dumps, I am a big E-bay freak and I had to wrap all my parcels up today, ready for posting tommorrow which done my head in ! because Charlie never lets me do anything that I want or need to do he just wants to play all the time which is rather annoying when you have got stuff to do. He has Cbeebies on the television all day and if I change the channel he'll have a big tantrum, I know it's my own fault as I give into him all the time for a quite life - Things will get better hopefully when he starts pre-school in a couple of months - Even though my Ex hardly helped me with the Children anyway when he was here, I have got to admit I am finding it pretty hard being by myself..It's kind of hard at night times and weekends, but I did the right thing and it's just gonna take time.
Abbie went to her friends house for the day today and when she came home she had made me this.
005A lovely decorated cake..bless her, she is so sweet and well behaved. ( Note to self : Just because u've learned how to upload photo's, it doesn't mean that you need to upload one every blog..Silly Woman.
